Rant for a Beer!

Are you fed up with our political system? Our economic system? Do you have something to say about it? Are you fed up and can’t take it anymore?

Do you like beer?

As a complement to our upcoming production Except in the Unlikely Event of War, Pi Theatre and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades Theatre are hosting  ‘The Protest Lounge’, running every night at the Roundhouse after the performance.

We want all committed citizens, comedians, artists-slash-activists, poets, provocateurs and shit-disturbers to step up on the proverbial soapbox and give us a piece of their mind.  In exchange for a 1 to 3-minute public rant – that must illicit either a big laugh, an angry jeer or a heartfelt round of applause from the audience – we will give you a free beer.

Come on out, Thursday November 21st and Thursday November 28th after the show, which ends around 10pm.   If you can’t make it to see the play that night, please RSVP to jessharvey@live.ca and we will arrange to have you attend ‘The Protest Lounge’ as a performer.

Also, if you or your friends are under the age of 25, we have an awesome #CRUSHRUSH rate: $10/Matinees, $15 Evenings – a limited number tickets will be available at the door 15 minutes before the show, cash only.

Come for the ranting, stay for the beer and provocation.
