The Darling Family: A Duet for Three, written by Linda Griffiths and nominated for a Governor General Award, is the story of two new lovers, faced with the dilemma of an unplanned pregnancy. Bravely searching beyond their trivial self-definitions, they decide to face their own every thought, every option, on a path to healing, courage and growth. Written with fierce starkness and lyricism, the text is an honest, brutal and loving examination of conscience and survival, as relative strangers confront growing levels of intimacy and responsibility.
