Onward and upward: The Forgiveness Project

This past August 23 HHG Theatre held a public showing of The Forgiveness Project as a work-in-progress, after a wonderful, exhausting and tumultuous week-long workshop of exposing and giving shape to the most intmate, hidden away, and treasured secrets of a group of theatre artists that prove to be as brave, loving, funny and sensitive as any that we’ve worked with before.

And wonder of wonders: we had a crowd of about 35 people who came out for this showing, which due to the nature of theatre when confronted with an audience, turned into a “show”. Said our friend Angela Konrad: “Even a sneak peek of a show that special has an impact.”

“I am Evil. I am Ugly. I am Weak.”

Developed with the assistance of PTC, we’d like to extend our huge thanks to Mindy Parfitt, Alexa Devine for leading the project, as well as to our exceptional company: Heidi Taylor, Lucia Frangione, Allan Morgan, Manami Hara, Rob Olguin, Noah Drew, Cande Andrade, Andreas Kahre, Amber Barton, Barb Clayden and Christie Maxson for putting it all on the line.

The next time you see The Forgiveness Project will be in March 2014. Stay tuned for more info, and we’ll be looking to see you there.
