RIP: The Waldorf

We are very sad and frustrated to hear of the imminent demise of The Waldorf. On January 20, 2013, this East Vancouver cultural hub – a success story in grass-roots cultural entrepreneurism if ever there was one in Vancouver’s recent past – will close its doors because its owners would now prefer to profit off The Waldorf’s legacy of transforming a neighborhood and develop more condos. Congrats to Alexa Devine & Ghost River Theatre

On December 22 HHG co-artistic director Alexa Devine closes the run of Ghost River Theatre’s Everything is Terribly Nice Here, which also marked Alexa’s Calgary debut.
